Fitzgerald/ Gin Sour

The Fitzgerald (invented in the 1990s by Dale Degroff) and the classic Gin Sour are birds of a feather, separated by the choice to use egg white or not.

1 ½ oz CATHOUSE GIN

¾ oz simple syrup

¾oz lemon juice

½ oz egg white (optional)

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Shake all ingredients with ice (if using egg white, shake 30 seconds min.); strain into serving glass. If using egg white, add two further drops of Angustora bitters on the foam as garnish.
